The Return of the Less Famous Five
Take a long-running series of children’s books from a distant country, England in the 1930s to the very early 60s. Age the characters into adults, re-assemble the gang on their old stamping ground, and add a few criminals for the gang to pursue.
That sounds like a fun pastiche, something not too heavy to read. An escape from wall-to-wall politics. 2024 will see elections in the UK and the USA.
Then add the usual Ted Bun twist and … Enjoy the ride!
